Rurrenabaque – Parque Nacional Madidi – Pampas of the Yacuma

9:00 We leave the offices of San Miguel del Bala by boat to the Caquiahuara lodge within the Madidi National Park, our trip lasts 3 hours initially navigating the Beni river and then the Tuichi river.
12:30 Reception of visitors and allocation of comfortable rooms, then go to enjoy the delicious buffet lunch.
14:00 Walk and explore through the jungle where the guide will connect you with the incredible nature. You will also enjoy a walk along the “Mapajo” path in the jungle observing species of animals and knowing different species of plants, in which your guide will share your knowledge related to the flora and fauna of the area, where you will find ancestral trees of great height and with more than 300 years of life, in addition to different species of animals.
19:00 You will enjoy a delicious dinner.
20:00 Night walk through the jungle to enjoy a natural spectacle in the moonlight, perceiving nature in a different way than during the day; in which we can enjoy a beautiful tour and appreciate the eyes of alligators and other species of animals and nocturnal insects such as herons and fireflies.
6:00 (Before breakfast) We will observe beautiful macaws in their natural habitat. After a short boat trip you will walk 20 minutes through the jungle to reach the “parabal”, a rocky wall approximately 30 meters high where red-blue parabas nest. A climb to the top of the “parabal” offers a unique view over the Madidi National Park.
9:00 Return to the ecolodge to enjoy an exquisite breakfast.
10:00 Boat trip on the Tuichi river to practice sport fishing (pacú, catfish, painted, surubí among others). When you are successful in fishing you can taste a delicious fish dish prepared in a typical Tacana way made in bamboo and leaves for your lunch.
12:30 Lunch at the ecolodge.
13:30 We will go by boat to the ecolodge San Miguel del Bala in a beautiful walk that will last approximately one hour, to accommodate in your private cabin.
15:00 Visit to the beautiful Tacana San Miguel indigenous community, to share experiences with its members who dedicate their lives to protect the jungles, rivers and forests, different activities will be carried out where you will learn from your daily life, its magnificent traditions and customs. In the community you can weave with palm leaves and squeeze a delicious cane juice using the “trapiche”, an ancient juicer.
18:30 Dinner at the ecolodge and later rest.
7:00 The day begins with tropical bird songs and an exquisite breakfast typical of the region.
8:30 Walk and explore the “Traps” path through the jungle where the guide will connect you with the incredible nature and take you back in time showing you ancient methods of capturing wild animals used by the Tacana. You will also enjoy a walk through the jungle observing species of animals and knowing “Medicinal plants” trails, in which your guide will share your knowledge related to the cure of diseases based on natural medicine.
12:30 Return to the ecolodge San Miguel to taste an exquisite lunch and rest.
15:00 Visit to the magnificent canyon of the Bala of natural stones, which has more than 150 meters long, a place of particular natural beauty. To reach this incredible tourist attraction, you will navigate the Beni River for approximately 15 minutes and then walk for 10 minutes and reach the canyon.
18:30 When leaving the canyon a boat waits to transport us to the lodge and enjoy a delicious dinner.
7:30 A rich breakfast in our ecolodge.
8:00 Return to Rurrenabaque by boat to continue the journey to the Pampas del Yacuma.
8:40 Departure in comfortable and safe vehicles heading to the wide Pampas on the banks of the Yacuma River, while we travel through this impressive marshland for 3 hours we can appreciate the habitat of many exotic and wild species that inhabit this beautiful place as curious 3-toed sloths, the swamp deer, ostrich, the giant armadillo, adorable herons among other species of which you can observe and appreciate their incredible way of life.
12:30 We will arrive at the ecolodge and enjoy a delicious lunch.
14:30 Departure by boat along the Yacuma river, in comfortable and safe boats during this walk we can enjoy the wonderful landscape that surrounds this place and its waters that are full of life allowing to find an incredible variety of unique species such as the feared piranhas, different species of anacondas, friendly howler monkeys, different and beautiful bird species, the bufeo, capybaras, beautiful toucans, hoazines that are birds of Paradise with their strange features and their unmistakable face painted blue among many more species.
18:30 We will enjoy dinner at the ecolodge.
7:30 Breakfast with the beautiful view offered by our peaceful atmosphere in the hostel starting from a boat ride through the fantastic waters of the Yacuma River to swim with one of the most adorable and beautiful species that we can find in this magnificent place the Pink Dolphin, You will also find species like the cute yellow monkeys, pretty squirrels, then you will go in search of the immense black alligator that is the largest species in the area.
12:30 A tasty typical lunch at the ecolodge.
2:00 p.m. Performing sport fishing of Piranhas that will allow to know different species that inhabit the Yacuma river, as well as other species of fish such as catfish, sardines, among others.
18:30 Enjoy a delicious dinner at the ecolodge.
20:00 Boat trip to enjoy a natural spectacle in the moonlight in which we can enjoy a beautiful tour and appreciate the eyes of alligators and other species of animals and nocturnal insects such as herons and fireflies.
7:30 We will wake up early to enjoy our delicious breakfast.
8:30 Departure in search of Anaconda or Sicuri, for this we will travel by boat to strategic places to find it, observing on the way yellow monkeys, howlers, spider monkeys among other species, knowing the vegetation of the area and looking for lagoons where you live and the anaconda (largest and heaviest snake in the world) may be hidden.
12:30 We will have lunch at the ecolodge.
13:30 Return to Rurrenabaque in cars to be around 16:30.
