Rurrenabaque – Madidi

8:00 Departure from the San Miguel del Bala office, heading to the port of Rurrenabaque by motorized boat through the extensive Beni River (approximately 45 minutes) to the ecolodge of the community of San Miguel del Bala.
9:30 Visit to the beautiful Tacana San Miguel indigenous community, to share the experiences with its members who dedicate their lives to protect the jungles, rivers and forests, different activities will be carried out where you will learn from your daily life, its magnificent traditions and customs. In the community you can weave with palm leaves and squeeze a delicious cane juice using the “trapiche”, an ancient juicer.
13:00 Share a traditional lunch with the assigned Tacana family.
14:30 Meet and share the daily life of the Tacana family, performing the same activities that the Tacana family performs, among which the visit to different areas of the community, learn to prepare the typical food of the region, will support different productive activities such as traditional fishing, harvesting of products, crafting, among others.
19:00 Dinner and rest in the room provided by the Tacana family or in the hostel depending on your choice.
7:30 Your day starts with tropical bird songs and a good breakfast.
8:00 You will share the daily life of the family that receives you and you can walk and explore the community and its surroundings as a community, visiting the attractive Natural Pool and San Miguel Canyon.
You will visit a local farming chaco and learn about the different species of food plants in the region, learning about their cultivation, their nutritional characteristics and their harvest.
12:30 Lunch with the assigned family.
14:30 Enjoy the activities carried out by the family that receives it, being able to talk with them, exchange ideas and get to know their culture in an experiential way.
19:00 Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in the room assigned by the family that receives it.
7:00 You will prepare your own breakfast in a traditional Tacana way in direct collaboration of the family that receives it and then you can walk and visit the attractions near the community accompanied by one of the members of the assigned family, or if you wish you can live in the daily activities of the family that receives you.
12:30 Lunch with the family that receives you.
14:00 You can walk and visit the attractions near the community such as the beautiful canyon of the Bala with a length of 150 meters and a height of 15 meters, the natural pool, between various walks along different paths full of flora and fauna that you they will allow you to enjoy the natural wealth of the region or if you wish you can live in the daily activities of the family that receives you
15:30 Prepare your luggage to return by boat to Rurrenabaque, down the Beni River. The transfer will take approximately 45 minutes to reach Rurrenabaque at 4:30 p.m.
